Documentation
The PureMVC Manifold Project is an attempt to support ports of the framework to other programming languages and the new communities that will eventually form around them. Clearly this cranks up the pressure for documentation a notch.
Fortunately, the PureMVC framework is built on language-independent patterns. While the examples are the language of the reference implementation (ActionScript 3), the concepts are the same for all ports of the framework. So, the current strategy for documentation of the framework is for these primary documents to serve as the reference for all ports. Care has been taken in their recent redrafts to help them serve in this capacity until versions can be created for the ports as they reach stability.
Each port of the framework has its own Release Notes which will alert you to any deviations from the original framework concepts that were required to implement in the given language or platform. Eventually more Port specific documentation will be available, this is just the interim strategy.
Also, these documents and the entire website are only in English at the moment, but we are working to get them prepared for translation. We have a dedicated French translator, but really need Spanish, German, Russian, Danish, Chinese, and Japanese at a minimum. Others I may have left out are certainly welcome.
