About | License | Organization | Tickets | Navigation

  • Although Trac has a ticketing system, the PureMVC project has in the past had good luck with using Forums for this purpose. The nature of the Manifold Project is really many small projects that should reach stability quickly and not require much maintenance, even the Ports.

  • So, in order to keep things simple for the public and the Project Owners, as well as reduce the possibility of spambot attacks, we will continue to use the  Forums as the mechanism for submitting and responding to bug reports and feature requests.

  • If you would like to submit a bug report or feature request for a particular Sub-Project, be it a Port, Demo or Utility:

First, be sure:

  • You're working with the latest version of the code from the Sub-Project's repository.
  • You've read all of the documentation in the Sub-Project's wiki and source code.

If you find a bug or would like to request a feature:

  • Check the forum thread or board for the Sub-Project ('Discuss' link on the Local Menu)
  • Note that all Ports also have a associated Bug Report board.

Once you're certain that the bug/feature hasn't already been reported/requested, and possibly fixed/implemented:

  • Post a report in the associated forum thread or board for the Sub-Project. (Ports also have a Bug Report board).
  • Be as detailed as possible about the issue, including a recipe to reproduce if possible.
  • If you have a fix for the problem, include a patch or description of how you think the bug should be fixed.
